Horizontal TabsDescription Join the talented young composers from Cynthia Van Manen's studio as they present their works from blank page to score! The concert also features the world premiere of indie composer Son Lux' newly commissioned piece titled, When Patterns Change. A collaboration with comparative arts, visual arts and dance students produced a dance-centric music video directed by Jennifer Mc Quiston-Lott and animation artist Adam Teninbaum. Protagonist of the film is former alumna and Hubbard Street Chicago dancer Alice Klock. Ryan Lott, aka Son Lux, is a chamaeleon artist, able to shape and inoculate any landscape he is asked to enter. A collaborator with an eclectic taste and vision to match, Ryan is able to make home anywhere, from stave to pelicula, often sculpting a haunting fluxus with his voice, then emerging center stage as a pop icon in his own right. Originally a one-man-sound-band, Son Lux is now triptych, comprised of Ryan Lott, Rafiq Bhatia and Ian Chang.
